Founding AI Engineer

We're looking for a founding AI engineer that is building AI agents + models. You'll be working on messy, high-impact problems that most people would walk away from, taking ideas from zero to one quickly while thriving in ambiguity.

Your Day to Day at Truvo:

  • Deep Interactions: Sitting with our insurance team and building AI agents to automate workflows and building models to deeply understand insurance carrier appetite
  • API Integration: Constructing deep API integrations into insurance carriers
  • Shipping from Day One: Deploying to production and moving extremely quickly, while taking full responsibility of your code

Requirements:

  • Problem Solver: You love working on messy, high-impact problems that most people would walk away from
  • Builder & Owner: You take ideas from zero to one quickly. You thrive in ambiguity, figure things out, and ship
  • Applied AI: Hands-on experience with LLMs and agents building, fine-tuning, or deploying them in production
  • Systems Thinker: Comfortable with integrations, APIs, and workflow automation. Insurance runs on legacy rails — you'll help us rewire them
  • Scrappy Engineer: Strong software engineering background. Experience building production-grade systems, not just prototypes
  • Nice to Have: Exposure to fintech/insurtech, RAG, embeddings, semantic search, or workflow automation
